The CINV is proud to announce the Sympossium “CINV-Max Planck Tandem Group Competition: The beginning of a long friendship“ that will put together 10 of the best young Neurobiologists spread around the world in a contest that will decide the two Max Planck Tandem Research Leaders that will be part of CINV and the University of Valparaíso for the next 7 years. Group leaders will receive funding for salary, equipment, technician and postdoctoral associates. They will be also allowed to add PhD students of our PhD programs. We fully agree with Max Perutz statement that: “Creativity in science, as in the arts, cannot be organized. It arises spontaneously from individual talents. Discoveries cannot be planned; they pop up, like Puck, in unexpected places”.
