CONICYT abrió el Concurso para BECA ASISTENCIA A EVENTOS Y CURSOS CORTOS PARA ESTUDIANTES DE DOCTORADO – Convocatoria 2013, con Plazo Final de Recepción de Postulaciones en Línea el próximo día MIÉRCOLES 17 DE JULIO DE 2013 A LAS 14:00 HORAS. Para postular a estas becas, los estudiantes de programas de doctorado (acreditados) deberán tener aceptado el resumen de su trabajo. De modo qué invitamos a todos los estudiantes de doctorado expositores de trabajos en la próxima reunión anual de la Sociedad Chilena de Neurociencia a enviar el resumen a la brevedad. Una vez recibido el resumen se les enviará vía correo electrónico la aceptación formal del trabajo, documento necesario para la postulación a beca en CONICYT.
Instrucciones para el resumen:
Debe estar escrito en inglés en letra Arial tamaño 12.
Title (in upper letters), followed by author(s) last name and initials of first name(s) Example: Pérez, A.J.; Valenzuela, M. The presenting author must be the first author and his/her name should be in bold characters. Then, the affiliation of authors, followed by the email address of the presenting author.
The body of the abstract should be in a separate paragraph and no longer than 250 words. The abstract should state the objective of the study, briefly describe the methods used, summarize the results obtained and state the conclusions. It is not satisfactory to say, “The results will be discussed.” Abstracts should principally emphasize the significance of results. When experimental animals are used, the species should be stated. When relevant, the sex of experimental animals and humans should be noted. Use standard abbreviations; otherwise, use the entire name in the first mention followed by its abbreviation in parentheses. Avoid figures, tables and references in the text of the abstract.
